Each week I pick new podcasts to listen to while I am on the farm doing chores! I choose them based on topics I am wanting to learn more about, people I am curious about, or just things I think would be entertaining.
This week I am listening to the following:
1. Pioneering Today: Growing Fruit Trees In Pots
I am super curious about growing all kinds of fruit trees in pots because I like to grow things that are not necessarily in my growing zone. Using a greenhouse I can grow citrus in Georgia! This one is right up my alley!
2. Farmish Kind Of Life: Build an In-Person Community
I find it so important to have people…friends to hang out with, go through life with, celebrate and mourn with! This is a topic that fits where I am currently and I want a fresh perspective on the topic!
3. The Joe Gardener Show: Tiny Vampires
I have spent a year on this farm fighting mosquitos and I am losing the battle! I am hoping that I can get some real tips on how to get rid of them without chemical sprays!
4. Living Homegrown: Making Herbal Infusions
This is something I am studying right now. Even though this podcast doesn’t seem to be going anymore, the topic fits my current interests.
